Drupal Development continues in earnest
September - December 2011
We have now commenced some full-on Drupal freelance development work - our first engagement is with Morgan Creative working on Drupal 7 websites for University of NSW and MAN Investments. In the meantime we have also been selected to convert the entire Locksmiths Guild of Australia website to Drupal 7. This includes a public website as well as a members area with document management facilities and a forum. During the month of January we will also create a Drupal 7 website for the annual Goulburn Rose Festival.
Drupal module launched
August 2011
The first Drupal module of what will eventually be a complete suite of modules has been launched on drupal.org and on www.tribus.com.au. Tribus Mail is a complete mailing list manager for Drupal that provides mailing list functionality completely integrated in Drupal so it can be used in conjunction with an existing or new Drupal website, or as a stand-alone application within the Drupal framework.
Drupal website development
June 2011
May and June have seen a burst of activity in the development of Drupal websites using both Drupal versions 6 and 7. This included the development of new websites as well as many configuration and styling jobs for graphics design agencies and other web development companies on a free-lance basis. As a result we are making great leaps in increasing our skills and knowledge base that will benefit all existing and new customers. Upgrade of office technology infrastructure for a small business
April 2011
A project to streamline office networking and equipment sharing, including centralisation of data storage and implementing data security and disaster recovery solutions. This includes some upgrades to PC equipment and implementing an office server.
Drupal development of an online ticketing system
March 2011
In March we developed an online ticketing system using Drupal 7 for Arts Bundanoon that provides a facility to purchase tickets online. Tickets can be purchased for a number of events at once, and then accessed and downloaded in PDF form once paid for. Full administration facilities are provided to manage tickets and produce attendance reports.

Supporting a Joomla! website for an outdoor event organisation
February 2011
This month we are focusing on supporting a Joomla! website for an outdoor events organisation. This will include creating and configuring a test environment so that administrators can try out new content and functionality. We will also be upgrading this website to version 1.5.22, and eventually to version 1.6.
Building expertise with using the Drupal Content Management System
January 2011
Over the past few months we have been spending a lot of time familiarising ourselves with the latest version of the Drupal open-source Content Management System, version 7. We are now developing some modules for Drupal, and will be developing a ticket booking system shortly.
Document Collaboration Solution implementation goes ahead

This month we are implementing an online document collaboration solution for a national organisation. This allows the Board, executive team and regional representatives to collaboratively edit documents online. This is a significant step forward from a cumbersome process of emailing documents back and forth and manually collating edits and changes at Head Office.
Digital A3 laser printer arrives
October 2010
On 11th October 2010 our large A3 digital laser printer arrived. This now gives us the capability to do high quality laser printing on either A4 or A3 glossy paper of varying thicknesses for brochures, newsletters, and signs.
Opening of Moss Vale office
September 2010
On 17th September 2010 we moved offices from Sydney to our new office in "Throsby Manor" in Moss Vale.
Database conversion and integration project is completed
September 2010
A major database conversion and integration project is completed which involved migration of a flat FileMaker Pro file to a MSAcces relational database complete with maintenance forms and reports. The conversion also included the transformation and loading of the data, and the building of a XML interface providing the ability to automate the synchronisation of this database with the online database.
Arts Bundanoon website launched
August 2010
At the end of August 2010 we launched the Arts Bundanoon website. Highlands Business Solutions built the website, and is hosting it, as part of its community sponsorship commitment. The initial public information website is up and running, with future enhancements to include a membership and mailing list database, as well as an artists database.
